South Dakota Partnership The South Dakota Partnership Program is a partnership between state government and private insurance companies to assist individuals in planning for their long-term care needs. Individuals who purchase long-term care insurance polices that qualify as Partnership Polices may receive special treatment protecting their assets through a feature known as ’ÄúAsset Disregard,’Äù under South Dakota Medicaid program.
